In 2016 she defended her thesis in Movement Science at the University of Paris Saclay, entitled “Characterization of the kinematics and trajectory of the mass center of hemiparetic patients during a navigation task ” for which she was awarded the prize of the National Council of Physiotherapy in 2017.
Since 2020, she has been deputy director of the Research Unit Erphan (Paris Saclay University).

He masters both video and IMU sensors kinématic analysis and is always of a great advice concerning these technologies.
MD, PhD, Professor at the University of Montpellier
How do we control our movements in space & time? What theory can guide the modeling of such a control? How can we use this knowledge to improve human health?
Denis addresses these questions using (optimal) control theory and dynamical systems theory to shed light on data from behavioural experiments on healthy humans pushed at their limits (speed, accuracy, fatigue). Most of his research time is now devoted to upper-limb rehabilitation using numerical technologies to improve recovery after stroke.
